 J&R Meats features local, hand processed meats. Our goal is to have a fresh local supply of naturally grown beef, pork, lamb, buffalo and chicken on a regular basis. We will custom cut your meat for a special occassion or a large event. No order is too large or small if you give us a few days notice.
In addition to fresh meat we have sausage, as well as cured and smoked meats, like pastrami and bacon. All of our sausages are made in house and there are many varieties. Our hams and bacons are smoked right here in the shop over hickory chips.We have a small selection of cheese featuring several local producers.
Our large sandwiches feature house-smoked beef or pork piled high on a fresh roll. We have original rubs and sauces designed by owner Jim Fogle under the North County label, available only in the store.
